PASSUR Aerospace Welcomes Ilhan Ince as CEO

On October 8, 2025, PASSUR Aerospace, a prominent figure in providing aviation decision support and predictive analytics, revealed the appointment of Ilhan Ince as their new Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Previously the Chief Operating Officer, Ince has been pivotal in steering the company's transformative technology initiatives since joining in 2018. During his tenure, he has pushed forward PASSUR's ability to deliver AI-driven predictions and robust data fusion, all while enhancing the collaborative decision-making platform known as ARiVATM.

Ince has been serving as the interim CEO following the departure of former CEO Brian Cook earlier this summer. Katharine Cargol, the Chair of the Board, expressed enthusiasm regarding Ince’s appointment, stating, "Today’s increasingly complex airspace requires data-driven solutions implemented quickly and effectively, enriched by aviation expertise at all levels. That’s the strength PASSUR offers, and Ilhan’s exceptional blend of technical rigor and a commitment to scalable innovation will further our growth."

With nearly three decades of experience in optimizing aviation performance, Ilhan Ince has held significant roles at US Airways, American Airlines, and PASSUR. His leadership has been instrumental in launching the ARiVATM platform, which facilitates situational awareness, proactive notifications, and predictive analytics all on a shared platform, allowing stakeholders in aviation to collaborate seamlessly in real-time. ARiVATM is not only scalable and cost-effective but also highly customizable, grounded in PASSUR’s innovative FusedSuiteTM data.

Before his tenure at PASSUR, Ince was at the helm of American Airlines' Operations Planning and Performance Team, where he made considerable advancements with systems still utilized in today's operations. His accomplishments at US Airways include establishing a new team dedicated to enhancing operational planning that ultimately transformed the airline into a leading force within its industry. Additionally, he played a vital role as co-chair of the Industry–Federal Aviation Administration Joint Analysis Team, where he was pivotal in formulating best practices that evaluate the performance and benefits of NextGen.

Ince’s extensive background also encompasses the development of systems aimed at semi-autonomous ground and air vehicles, contributing to projects for battlefield situational awareness and mission planning for DARPA and other governmental bodies before entering the aviation sector.

With the escalating growth of air traffic and the introduction of novel vehicles, such as drones, Ince posits that aviation demands enhanced tools for improved decision-making, collaboration, effectiveness, reliability, and customer experience. He conveyed, "At PASSUR, we are harnessing advanced AI and machine learning, coupled with meticulous data fusion and expert human insight to empower our customers in making intelligent, rapid decisions. I take pride in the trust our partners place in PASSUR, and I am eager to enhance operational efficiency throughout the industry."

As a leading provider of decision intelligence, situational awareness, and predictive analytics, PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. leverages the ARiVA product suite to serve the aviation industry effectively. Their flight operations platform and global data feeds enable dynamic tracking of flights from origin to destination, with constant alerts and notifications along with real-time collaboration to improve operational efficiency, mitigate interruptive operational events, enhance asset utilization, and boost customer satisfaction significantly.
