Detroit Pistons and Comerica's SHOP313: Supporting Small Businesses in Metro Detroit

Detroit Pistons and Comerica Bank Launch SHOP313 Initiative

In a powerful collaboration aimed at bolstering the local economy, the Detroit Pistons have partnered with Comerica Bank to launch the SHOP313 initiative. Kicking off during the 2024-25 NBA season, this program invites 28 small businesses from Michigan to showcase their offerings in pop-up shops at the Little Caesars Arena.

Elevating Local Businesses

The primary goal of SHOP313 is to provide small businesses with increased visibility and customer engagement opportunities. This initiative not only promotes the businesses but also highlights the importance of small enterprises in driving economic growth within Metro Detroit. As Dave Sanabria, Vice President of Partnership Engagement at the Pistons, puts it: "The Detroit Pistons SHOP313 Small Business Platform recognizes the value and importance of small businesses in our community."

Participation and Benefits

During each designated game, seven small business customers from Comerica Bank will participate. This includes six businesses featured at the SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops area in the UWM District Market concourse, where they can interact directly with fans. Additionally, one business will gain suite access, allowing for high-level networking in a business-to-business setting. All seven businesses will also benefit from digital signage within the arena and brand awareness promoted through the Pistons' social media channels.

The supported small businesses for the start of this program include:

  • - Dynamic Roofing from Carleton, specializing in high-quality asphalt roofing systems.
  • - Happy Deals LLC from Detroit, offering affordable homeware to the local community.
  • - Rev'd Up Fun from Woodhaven, a family entertainment venue focused on providing joyful experiences.
