The new facility, named Atlanta - Norcross 2, will boast an impressive area of 48,000 square feet and will have the capability to generate 4.5 megawatts (MW) of power. With the addition of this new data center, Flexential's total market footprint in Atlanta will expand to approximately 800,000 square feet, with a combined total capacity of 73 MW. The company’s national portfolio is extensive, consisting of over 40 data centers with a total capacity of 360 MW either currently operational or under development across 18 U.S. markets, which also includes ongoing projects in Douglasville, Georgia, Parker, Colorado, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Flexential has been actively investing in its infrastructure capabilities, having successfully raised nearly $1 billion from notable investors like GI Partners, GI Data Infrastructure, Hamilton Lane, and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners in the past year and a half.
