On November 15, 2025, the iconic anime music festival, "Tobu Railway presents ANIMAX MUSIX 2025 YOKOHAMA supported by Lemino," took place at Yokohama Arena. This event, co-hosted by NTT Docomo and Animax Broadcast Japan, showcased an impressive lineup of artists celebrating the enchanting world of anime music. The festival aims to spread the joy of anime music globally, continuing its journey that began in 2009.

For those who missed the live performances, there's great news! From noon on November 22, 2025, the entire event experience will be available for catch-up streaming on Docomo's video service, "Lemino Premium," for a subscription fee of 990 yen (tax included).

An Unforgettable Experience

Last year's festival marked a monumental 15th anniversary for ANIMAX MUSIX, leading organizers to innovate further. This year, the festival included special collaborations among artists, a fan project titled #MUSIXFANPROJECT which provided attendees with a chance to request songs and participate in dance battles. With about 10,000 enthusiastic anime music fans in attendance, the event sought to create an unprecedented atmosphere of excitement and emotion.

Highlights of the Event

The festivities kicked off with MADKID opening their set with "Resolution" from the anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4". Following this, they performed "Mad Pulse" from "DIGIMON BEATBREAK," electrifying the audience right from the start.

Next up was DIALOGUE+, an eight-member voice actor artist unit, who engaged the crowd with two tracks: "Utopia Studies" and "Joyful Chant!" The anticipation in the venue surged as they transitioned into the exciting collaboration segment, featuring the powerful duo of Shouta Aoi and Yoshino Nanjo performing "TESTAMENT" from "Symphogear AXZ."

As the audience's energy peaked, the Mae-bashi Witches took the stage, delivering ClariS' hit "Connect" from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica." The audience erupted into cheers as the opening notes rang out.

After the collaborative corner, the character song unit, Tenrou-gun, performed back-to-back songs from the anime "Bad Girl," delighting the audience with their catchy themes. This was followed by Reika Nakajima and other guest performers dazzled with their respective tracks from various anime series, keeping the excitement at a fever pitch.

In a rare crossover segment, beloved Precure singers joined forces with DIALOGUE+, where they decimated the stage singing "DANZEN! Futari wa Precure."

A Variety of Performances

As the first half receded, Kei Shina was not to be missed as she transitioned from a high-energy performance to mesmerizing collaborations, including a powerful rendition of "Yuzurenai Negai" from "Magic Knight Rayearth."

The post-break schedule saw OxT and MYTH & ROID deliver choruses from "Overlord," among other famous tracks, blending the excitement in the hall with their high-octane performances.

The fan selection parts showcased several exclusive collaborations that had the audience singing and dancing along, ensuring everyone felt included in the exhilarating experience. Each artist brought their signature touch to their performances, captivating the audience throughout.

The evening concluded with a jubilant final number, inviting all performers back to the stage for a unity performance of "Happy Material" from "Mahou Sensei Negima!" This song resonated within the hearts of many and wrapped up a day that left an ever-lasting mark on anime music history.
