Seminar Overview: Enhancing ICT Literacy in Education



On December 23rd, 2025, JPI (Japan Planning Institute) will host a pivotal seminar focusing on the Ministry of Internal Affairs' endeavors to promote ICT literacy and address ongoing challenges within education. The session will feature Mr. Masaru Takeshita, head of the information utilization support room at the Ministry's Information Distribution Promotion Division. This seminar aims to explore critical aspects of the rapid digital transformation impacting education.

In recent years, the swift adoption of smartphones, the growing use of social networking services, and the realization of the GIGA School concept have laid the foundation for utilizing ICT across all generations. This seminar will delve into various initiatives designed to improve data utilization in educational settings and bolster ICT literacy through public-private partnerships, specifically the “DIGITAL POSITIVE ACTION” project.

Registration Fee


The fee for the seminar is set at 37,880 yen (tax included) per participant. As an added benefit, for each registered participant, one additional attendee from the same organization can join free of charge, although pre-registration is necessary. Additionally, public sector representatives can benefit from a special rate for up to two participants at 11,000 yen each, applicable for in-person or live streaming attendance only.

Post-Separation Interaction


Following the seminar, we facilitate further interaction by allowing participants to forward their questions to the speaker, enabling deeper understanding and collaboration opportunities.
