Idol Airis Holds Photo Exhibition in Fukuoka and Tokyo
15-year-old idol Airis, known for her unconventional approach to stardom, is set to unveil her second photo exhibition titled "Graduation: My Uniform ≒ Sacred Garment" in both Fukuoka and Tokyo. This collection showcases photographs captured between her 13th and 15th birthdays, centered around the theme of school uniforms and her journey as an idol.
Having experienced orthostatic dysregulation and school refusal, Airis graduated middle school without attending a single day of classes. The exhibition aims to highlight learning and growth that extends beyond the confines of traditional schooling, challenging the notion of what education should look like. The title's significance, "Uniform ≒ Sacred Garment," reinterprets the school uniform not just as a symbol of belonging but as a source of personal strength and support.
At the exhibition, visitors will have access to free pamphlets created by Airis, detailing her experiences with school refusal, orthostatic dysregulation, and educational rights in Japan. This initiative offers attendees a chance to gain insight into the current realities faced by young individuals dealing with similar challenges.
In addition to the photo exhibition, a parent-child talk event will take place in Fukuoka, featuring Airis and her mother. This discussion will focus on themes related to confronting school refusal and orthostatic dysregulation, giving attendees a rare opportunity to engage in a Q&A session after the talk. The event is designed to be accessible for Airis's fans, those who appreciate idols and portraiture, as well as students and parents who may be struggling in school.

Film Announcement
In conjunction with the exhibition, Airis has announced the development of a film based on her experiences, titled "Ascension Crystal: The Story of Airis (Tentative)." The narrative aims to portray a journey of self-discovery, suggesting that light and hope come from within.
Starting March 3, Airis will be updating her novel, featuring her story, on her Note account daily.
Crowdfunding Initiative
Crowdfunding for the film will kick off on the opening day of the Tokyo exhibition, April 4, 2025, and run until May 21, which also marks Airis's birthday. This project aims to create a system where the support from fans contributes to awareness and assistance for those dealing with school refusal and orthostatic dysregulation.
Call for Collaboration
The production team is open for recruitment, inviting directors, cast members, and crew who share the vision of delivering social themes through entertainment. Whether experienced or newcomers, all are welcome to contribute to this project aligned with the goal of creating impactful narratives for children and young adults.
