The RYUKYU e SPORTS & ECO GRAND PRIX 2026 aims to create a unique experience that appeals to all ages by merging the globally celebrated game Brawl Stars, the electrifying atmosphere of Ryukyu Corazon's official matches, and the environment-focused eスポGOMI. This innovative approach promises to foster community engagement in an enjoyable, competitive setting. The series will take place from August to December 2026, comprising four events in total.

As a long-time participant in environmental initiatives, Life Reversal Gaming has previously collaborated with Ryukyu Corazon on events like the OKINAWA CLEAN CHALLENGE CUP. This new project seeks to harness that experience while partnering with organizations like GLOE Inc., which specializes in e-sports management. The combined effort aims to construct a sustainable community model that integrates e-sports, pro-sports, and environmental conservation.

Funded by the Okinawa e-sports Promotion Subsidy for the 8th year of the Reiwa era, the project is set to address key issues while fostering a sense of solidarity within the community.

Kick-Off Event - August 29, 2026

The inaugural event will kick off on August 29, 2026, at Hotel Collective in Naha City. Teams comprising three members each will engage in eスポGOMI, a competitive activity that challenges them to collect the highest volume and variety of waste within a designated time frame. The event includes a halftime competition featuring the game Puyo Puyo eSports, where teams that perform well can gain advantages for the main trash collection event. Additionally, an experience booth for Brawl Stars will be available for attendees to engage with.

Following this initial gathering, subsequent eスポGOMI events will take place across various locales in Okinawa. The grand finale is scheduled for December 20, 2026, at the Urasoe City Social Welfare Center, consolidating competitions in both Brawl Stars and eスポGOMI.

What is eスポGOMI?

eスポGOMI is an innovative environmental event that aims to raise awareness about the global marine waste crisis. It combines e-sports with an essential social activity—trash collection. Teams compete based on the amount and types of waste they collect in a limited area, rewarding teamwork and the fulfillment of achievement that comes through sports. The event offers participants of all ages a fun and engaging way to contribute to environmental protection.
