Macao Emerges as a Global Hub of Creativity During CreatorWeek 2025



From October 24th to 28th, 2025, the vibrant city of Macao hosted the highly anticipated CreatorWeek, an event that captured the essence of creativity on a global scale. Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in partnership with Branded, this five-day festival attracted 185 content creators from around the world, all coming together to showcase their talents and share insights with a collective audience of nearly 2 billion fans.

A Thriving Cultural Exchange


Throughout the week, participants engaged in a series of intercultural collaborations designed to explore Macao's unique blend of historical legacy and contemporary lifestyle. This dynamism not only added new life to the region but also elevated its profile as an international and innovative tourist destination. By fostering creative exchanges, CreatorWeek positioned Macao as a cultural crossroads and a crucial player in the global creator economy.

The event featured an array of interactive conferences, educational academies, fan meet-ups, wellness workshops, and live performances. This diverse programming served as fertile ground for forming new partnerships and collaborative productions while highlighting Macao's rich cultural diversity.

Notable Participants and Events


Opening and concluding with vibrant parties at the Wynn Palace Macau, over 250 creators and industry leaders attended, including notable figures such as Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of MGTO, and Ben Wong, COO of Google Greater China. Discussions at the conferences held at the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau attracted over 600 participants eager to delve into market entry strategies, global expansion, and trends shaping the creator economy.

Wellness workshops led by renowned creators, including Matt Tralli and Jacky Cai, coupled with health experts Will Liu and Ryan Narayan, highlighted the intersection of creativity and mindful living, offering attendees holistic approaches to content creation. The CreatorWeek Meet & Greet event at The Londoner Macao saw over 1,700 attendees, bridging the gap between online interactions and real-life connections. Those engaged included creators like Steven He and popular music acts like Berywam, PSYCHIC FEVER, and XODIAC, who collectively amassed millions of followers worldwide.

Additionally, CreatorWeek Live performances showcased artists from South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, celebrating cultural exchanges through music and art. The two-day CreatorWeek Academy welcomed around 120 budding creators for hands-on training in content creation, audience engagement, and brand collaborations. Mentors included industry leaders such as Bing Chen, CEO of Gold House, and Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas.
