In a thrilling culmination of creativity and craftsmanship, TECTURE Inc., led by CEO Shuhei Yamane, announced the winners of the TECTURE AWARD 2025, a prominent award recognizing excellence in architectural and interior design. With an unprecedented 1,033 entries, this year’s competition showcased the vibrant talent within the space design community, culminating in a celebratory awards ceremony held on March 31, 2026, in Tokyo.

Open and Inclusive Selection Process


The TECTURE AWARD stands out as an open space design award where decisions are made not just by professionals but also based on public feedback. This year saw participation from a wide demographic, reflecting the award’s mission of combining expert insights with community perspectives. The involved process began with a curated longlist selected by an esteemed panel of ambassadors from various fields of architecture and design. Following this, a public voting round allowed everyday individuals to engage and voice their preferences, ultimately yielding an impressive tally of 16,506 votes from 9,681 participants throughout the voting period.

The pinnacle of this prestigious event was the Grand Prix winner, Amami Island House, designed by Sakai Architectural Office. This remarkable project exemplifies innovative design and sensibility, making it a deserving recipient of the top honor.

Architecture Division

  • - Gold: Hōonji Funeral Hall by Sakai Architectural Office
  • - Silver: Green House by Aoki Studio
  • - Bronze: MIRU AMAMI by ADX

Interior Division

  • - Gold: KURUTO by Kuruto Inc.
  • - Silver: DAIKI by shirotokuro
  • - Bronze: Red Earth Clinic by AAAA

In addition to these awards, special honors were bestowed as well, including the TECH Award to The Warp by Mitsubishi Jisho Design, and the SUSTAINABLE Award also going to Hōonji Funeral Hall, underscoring the theme of contemporary sustainability in design. The U-35 Award was presented to ki-ten, a project that vividly illustrates the integration of public space within the urban environment.

The awards ceremony not only recognized the achievements of the finalists but also fostered networking opportunities among industry professionals, participants, and sponsors.
