w/leather Exhibition - A Journey with Leather
From November 1 to November 3, 2025, the w/leather exhibition will take place at P BOX, Shibuya Parco, Tokyo. Organized by the Japan Leather Industry Association (JLIA) in collaboration with the fashion media outlet FASHIONSNAP, this event seeks to highlight the sustainable charm of leather goods. This exhibition features five prominent figures in fashion—Hiroshi Fujiwara, Rena Senba, Hiromi Kurino, Daisuke Obana, and Minamikawa—who will share their personal stories revolving around their beloved leather items.
Leather items chosen by individuals carry unique narratives known only to them, reflecting their lives and experiences. As these esteemed creators continue to influence the fashion industry, their chosen leather pieces represent more than just materials; they embody the beauty of aging and the passage of time. Attendees can engage with the timelessness of leather as they explore the stories these items tell.
The exhibition aims to deepen the understanding of leather as a sustainable material through the Thinking Leather Action project. This initiative, led by the JLIA, focuses on promoting the sustainability of leather and leather products, encouraging a conscious approach to living with leather.
