MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025
The MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL, regarded as one of Japan's largest art festivals, will be held in Tokyo's Tennozu Canal area from October 10 to 13, 2025. This event serves as an exciting platform to explore the intersection of various artistic realms, including art, fashion, and music, under the theme "MEET YOUR ARTISTS -CROSSOVER-."
Organized by the MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL executive committee, which comprises Avex Creator Agency, the Tennoz Area Management Association, and others, this year's festival promises a rich tapestry of exhibitions and performances across seven venues, centralizing around Terada Warehouse.
Meet Your Artists -Crossover-
A special highlight of the festival is the art fair titled "MEET YOUR ARTISTS -CROSSOVER-," featuring multiple exhibitions that traverse various artistic territories. One of the central attractions will be the "BLOCK PARTY," showcasing dynamic wall art by reputed artists such as ESOW, Kōsuke Kawamura, Face Oka, NAIJEL GRAPH, and MHAK, representing a 30-meter wall filled with a conceptual illustration of Tokyo's culture, where different disciplines converge and resonate.
In addition to the BLOCK PARTY, multiple other special projects will be featured to enrich the festival experience:
- - Divers Narratives by ELLE will present the perspectives of six artists, urging guests to reflect on contemporary society through their lenses.
- - A solo exhibition by MISATO ANDO and a unique project led by the contemporary artist Sareena Sattapon titled "Thailand, what's going on?" showcasing innovative expressions from Thailand.
- - The Marco Gallery's engaging exhibit, "Imaginary Toy Store," encouraging visitors to interact with art in a playful environment.
- - NEORT++ will explore the extension of art through technology, while the collaboration between the AWASE gallery and biscuit gallery will highlight the work of Korean and Japanese artists.
Community Engagement and Cultural Fusion
The MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL is dedicated to fostering engagement with the audience, encouraging them to develop an interest in art through its many planned projects. Each exhibition is designed to bridge cultural gaps and create dialogue between creators and visitors, thus emphasizing unique collaborative approaches inherent to the festival's identity.
The festival is not just about traditional art displays; it is a vibrant meeting point for ideas, cultures, and experiences, resonating with the fact that our world consists of myriad narratives shaped by different voices and memories. The art presented is intended to challenge perceptions and invite visitors to contemplate their viewpoints, much like how cinema can evoke new questions in our daily lives.
The festival also features live performances, DJ sessions, and talks, along with the SUPER ART & CRAFT MARKET, creating a festive atmosphere rich with interaction and creativity.
