Celebrate the Moon Festival at Tokyo Tower's Outdoor Stair Walk

On October 6, 2025, Tokyo Tower will be hosting its annual 'Moonlit Outdoor Stair Walk' to honor the Mid-Autumn Festival. This year’s event is particularly special as it collaborates with the local pear variety 'Aki Mitsuki' from Chiba Prefecture.

As the sun sets, the iconic Tokyo Tower will be dressed in a special light display called the 'Moonlit Diamond Veil.' Visitors can ascend the 600 outdoor stairs leading to the main deck at a height of 150 meters, where they will be greeted with enchanting decorations featuring traditional dumplings and kusa grass. The event is set to run from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where the stairs will be opened for this exclusive night event.

From September 29 to October 6, the 'Bamboo Lighting Festival' will take place at Tokyo Tower, featuring delightful bamboo lights inspired by the moon and rabbits. The second floor of the main deck will transform into a magical space where visitors can relax and enjoy the beauty of autumn.

Autumn Moon Viewing Space

A special 'Aki Mitsuki Moon Viewing Space' will also be set up in front of the main entrance.
