During the 2026 Auto China, GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group) unveiled significant upgrades to its global strategy, aiming to solidify its presence in the international auto industry. This pivotal move comes amidst a worldwide focus on the Chinese automotive sector, particularly from markets in the Middle East and Africa. To facilitate this, GAC launched a China Experience Tour designed to engage with influential media and industry figures from key regional markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

Immersive Experience



A group of 21 mainstream media representatives and industry leaders from these countries traveled to GAC's facilities in Guangzhou and Beijing. Their itinerary included a comprehensive tour of GAC's intelligent manufacturing capabilities. The delegation witnessed firsthand the entire manufacturing chain at the GAC Technology Museum and tested various models, including the GS7 PHEV. This engagement was instrumental in generating momentum ahead of the GS7’s anticipated launch in these emerging markets.

As of now, content shared by African influencers has amassed over 2.32 million exposures and more than 220,000 interactions. One standout video alone garnered 1.7 million views, effectively capturing audience attention and interest in GAC's offerings. This level of engagement transforms these media figures into crucial advocates for the brand in their respective markets, bringing GAC’s vision of “Tech GAC, Global GAC” closer to public awareness.
