A Special Chinese Language Course Combining Learning with Interpretation Training

Special Chinese Language Course: Incorporating Interpretation Training

The Hao Chinese Academy, managed by Aeon Co., Ltd., will host a special Chinese language course titled "Let's Incorporate Interpretation Training into Chinese Learning!" on January 25, 2026. This practical workshop aims to break through the challenges faced by beginner to intermediate learners in mastering Chinese.

Often, language learning is likened to sports – excelling requires a balance between practice and actual play. Just as athletes need to work on both training and competition, language learners can't solely focus on conversation without improving other individual skills. The course is particularly beneficial for learners at the elementary to intermediate level (roughly equivalent to N3 Japanese Language Proficiency Test), as they may encounter difficulty in specific language components that hinder their overall growth.

Conducted by Yuuma Okamoto, a skilled Chinese interpreter and translator, the workshop will provide practical training utilizing five essential interpretation techniques, including "Quick Response" and "Retention." Beginners and intermediates seeking to enhance their skills will find this course invaluable, establishing effective personal learning strategies along the way.

Hao Chinese Academy enriches its curriculum not just with language education but also by promoting an appreciation for Chinese culture and history. They offer various special courses and cultural exchange events to ignite learners’ enthusiasm for mastering the language.
