Unveiling Mysteries: The 2nd Radio Detective Adventure at KDDI Museum

Discover the Exciting World of the Radio Detective Adventure at KDDI Museum!

KDDI is set to kick off a thrilling interactive mystery event, 'Radio Detective Adventure 2: Uncover the Truth Behind the Sea Monster!', starting from July 21 to October 10, 2026 at the KDDI Museum located in Tama City, Tokyo. This event aims to enhance the understanding of Japan's international communication history through an engaging and hands-on experience.

The event involves capturing radio waves emitted within the museum, providing participants with a unique way to solve mysteries. Using an FM radio receiver, visitors will tune into designated frequencies and piece together clues. Even children who have never used a radio before will find the experience enjoyable as they learn to operate the device in a playful setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own emergency radios, which adds a practical element to the adventure, while free rentals are also available, making it accessible for everyone without the need for prior preparations.

This is not the first time KDDI Museum has hosted this engaging mystery adventure. Last year’s event received positive feedback from guests who described it as ‘very interesting’ and ‘fun for kids’. This year promises an even more exciting storyline and new puzzles awaiting potential detectives.

KDDI is committed to creating a society where everyone can realize their aspirations, and this event is part of their broader initiative aimed at nurturing future talents. By engaging with the principles of communication and radio waves, it is hoped that children will cultivate a keen interest in science and develop their expressive capabilities.
