The upcoming Global Sources Hong Kong Shows, scheduled to take place from October 11 to 21, 2026, at the AsiaWorld-Expo, marks a significant milestone with over 25% growth in buyer pre-registrations compared to the previous year. This surge indicates a revitalized interest in the event, particularly from buyers based in Europe and North America, signaling a positive trend in the global trade landscape.

This year's show will unite over 4,200 exhibitors showcasing more than 330,000 new products across various categories, including consumer electronics, gaming, mobile technology, smart home devices, and outdoor sports. The event is divided into two main phases:

Phase 1: October 11-14

During the first phase, the show will focus on consumer electronics and gaming. Almost 2,100 exhibitors will present their offerings in more than 4,000 booths. Notably, the hybrid desktop ecosystem will be highlighted, featuring over 1,600 booths dedicated to PC accessories and more than 500 booths for gaming peripherals. Well-known brands such as CE-LINK, RXGAMER, Havit, and AULA will be present, reflecting the anticipated growth of the hybrid work hardware market projected to expand from $28.5 billion in 2025 to $52.4 billion by 2031.

In response to the enhanced EU regulations, particularly the Battery Directive (EU 2023/1542) which mandates digital product passports for certain battery-operated products starting February 18, 2027, exhibitors are preparing their products to comply with these regulations. This move is crucial for assisting buyers in minimizing certification and customs risks.

Phase 2: October 18-21

The second phase of the event will delve into mobile electronics, smart home technology, and lifestyle products, including sporting goods and outdoor gear, featuring over 2,100 exhibitors spread across more than 4,000 booths. A significant emphasis will be placed on artificial intelligence, with over 1,200 booths showcasing AI innovations across seven diverse sectors. Tencent AI, for instance, will unveil their agent portfolio along with hardware solutions. The AI Agent Summit, featuring experts from Tencent and the Linux Foundation, will take place as part of this segment.

In a noteworthy collaboration with the HKICEC, the show will also debut a pavilion dedicated to the circular economy, displaying certified refurbished smartphones from companies like Zhuan Zhuan, Aihuishou, and ecoATM, ensuring compliance with EU WEEE standards while offering accompanying services.
