Inaugural Livestock Job Festival Kyushu Marks a Milestone

On July 13, 2025, the first-ever Livestock Job Festival Kyushu was held at Gran Messe Kumamoto in Kumamoto Prefecture. Organized by TYL, a thriving venture company based in Tokyo, this event aimed to connect students and job seekers with companies involved in the livestock sector.

The festival drew 128 attendees, many of whom were eager to learn about opportunities in the livestock industry. This event marks a significant step forward, as TYL has historically hosted similar events in Tokyo and Sapporo for the past four years. Amidst growing calls for an event specific to Kyushu, recognized as a central region for livestock production, the festival's debut was much anticipated.

The Livestock Job Festival is the only one of its kind in Japan, focusing exclusively on matching job seekers either fresh out of university or looking to change occupations with potential employers in the livestock field. With 37 firms attending, the atmosphere at each booth was vibrant, filled with discussions about various career paths.

This time, they will include companies related to primary industries like agriculture, aiming to enhance recruitment prospects across the entire industry.
