Red Bull and Burton Unveil Epic Snowboarding Film "PAVED" at World Premiere Event

Excitement Builds for the Premiere of "PAVED"



On October 11, 2025, the world premiere of the much-anticipated snowboard film "PAVED" will take place at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo. This collaboration between Burton and Red Bull Media House has been two years in the making, showcasing the evolution of backcountry snowboarding with stunning visuals and exhilarating performances from some of the world's best riders.

Leading up to the premiere, a pre-party will be held at the Burton flagship store in Harajuku, Tokyo, starting at 3 PM. Fans can enjoy signing sessions with the riders, including the likes of Ben Ferguson, Danny Davis, Mikkel Bang, and Japanese stars Kairo Mitomi and Ken Otsuka, giving them a chance to meet their idols in a vibrant atmosphere.

After Tokyo, the film will also be screened from October 12 in Osaka and October 13 in Sapporo, continuing to engage fans across Japan with the same spirit of camaraderie and excitement.

A Showcase of Talent and Vision


"PAVED" features an impressive cast of riders, including three-time Olympic medalist Mark McMorris and the renowned Anna Gasser. They are joined by an all-star lineup consisting of creative forces like Zeb Powell, backcountry expert Ben Ferguson, and stylish icons such as Danny Davis. Each rider brings unique skills and stories that contributed to the film, making it a worthy tribute to the sport.

Directed by Ian Darkin, and produced by Pirates Movie Productions, "PAVED" combines mixed media, photography, and illustrations to authentically present the culture and essence of snowboarding. Additionally, unseen footage from the current Burton collection will be featured, further connecting fans with the brand's commitment to the sport.

Global Premiere Tour


After the Tokyo premiere, "PAVED" will embark on a worldwide tour, visiting cities like Milan and Zurich, and hitting over 25 theaters and retail venues until December. Each stop will host events like signing sessions, giveaways, live music, and interactive experiences with Burton x Red Bull, deepening the connection between fans and riders.

The film will be available for free on Red Bull TV starting November 7, 2025, and a trailer will be released on November 3.
