Pasona Heartful Glass Art Exhibition: A Celebration of Talent

Pasona Heartful, a special subsidiary of Pasona Group, is proud to announce its upcoming event: the 'Art Village Exhibition - Glass Art Exhibition.' This enlightening showcase will take place from September 13 (Saturday) to September 17 (Wednesday) at the 'Annex Aoyama,' located in front of PASONA SQUARE in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo.

Founded in 1992 with the mantra 'Talent knows no disability,' Pasona Heartful has championed the integration of individuals with disabilities into the workforce through artistic endeavors. The organization established the 'Art Village' to expand work opportunities for those facing employment challenges. Since 2004, Pasona Heartful has employed 'artist employees' who create poignant pieces of art, and currently, there are 22 talented artists contributing their unique perspectives and creativity to the art world.

Unique Glass Art Techniques

The exhibition will feature around 20 stunning glass artworks created by these 'artist employees.' The technique involved in glass painting includes layering paint on the backside of glass, resulting in pieces that possess depth and vibrant colors. The paint adheres uniformly to the glass surface, enhancing its brilliance and allowing viewers to appreciate the true luster of the colors used.

Each artist's distinct personality and expressive style shine through in their glass paintings, making this event not only a display of art but also a celebration of individuality and creativity.

During the exhibition, there will be a special event on September 16 (Tuesday) from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, where artist employee Haruka Nakamura will conduct a 'Painting Explanation Tour.' Participants will gain insights into the intricacies of the displayed artworks and learn about the details that warrant attention in each piece.
