Hubei Humanoid Robotics Conference at CISCE 2025
The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference was held during the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, underlining a commitment to innovative technology and collaboration in the humanoid robotics sector. The event attracted over 400 participants, including diplomats, industry experts, and financial leaders. Through speeches, project presentations, and signing cooperation contracts, the strengths of Hubei's humanoid robotics were showcased and international collaboration in this field was promoted.
Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized Hubei's strategic location, abundant scientific resources, robust innovation ecosystem, and open mindset. He pointed out the rapid progress the province has made in humanoid robotics, particularly in intelligent manufacturing, core component research and development, application scenarios, and building an ecosystem for robotics. "This year at CISCE, Hubei has set up an exhibition area for humanoid robots where 22 companies showcased over 80 exhibits, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots, reflecting the entire robotics industry ecosystem in the province," he said.
Yu noted that the CCPIT will continue to expand its service network and global partnerships to assist Hubei in establishing platforms for international collaboration, aiming to elevate its humanoid robotics industry to a leading brand. Hu Zhonghai, director of CCPIT Hubei, described humanoid robotics as a vital driver for technological innovation and industrial modernization. He cited Hubei's geographic, industrial, and political advantages, highlighting the presence of 325 Fortune Global 500 companies, and outlined a robotics roadmap with milestones set for one, three, and five years.
Zhao Xingwei, a legal representative of JCBot and professor at HUST, shared insights on how JCBot has industrialized technologies with support from HUST scientists. The company's products are implemented in over ten areas, including industrial production, tourism, firefighting, and warehousing. He pledged to enhance research and development for higher-quality applications and improvements in industry.
During the product launch, Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager at Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the company's new humanoid robot. This robot, already operational in sectors like exhibition guidance, retail, reception, and presentations, is set to expand applications into public administration, industry, elderly care, and more in the future.
As part of the matchmaking conference, the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance signed strategic agreements with three partners: the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. This collaboration focuses on research and development, market expansion, and professional exchange, aiming to build a dynamic ecosystem for robotics through resource sharing and complementary strengths.
