San-X, a prominent character design company based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Minakami Kogen Ski Resort, located in Gunma Prefecture. From December 19, 2025, to April 5, 2026, guests can participate in the "Chickip Dancers Winter Festival," a lively event showcasing the charming and unique characters from the popular animated series "Chickip Dancers."

This year, the delightful character "Hone Chicken" will be crowned the official ambassador of the Japanese Fried Chicken Association. To celebrate this honorary role, a special music video for the newly launched theme "Karaage LOVE" features a catchy dance song titled "KARAAGE WARS," which festival attendees will get to enjoy and dance along with.

Festival Highlights

- Dance Events and Greetings: Specific days will see the appearance of Hone Chicken and Mr. Skip Frog at the ski resort. Join them in a dance-off featuring the vibrant beats from the song "KARAAGE WARS," and afterwards, strike a pose for photos with your favorite characters.

- Special Prizes for Kids: Children staying at the Minakami Kogen Hotel 200 will receive a fun "Sticker Rally Kit." By locating the four rally panels hidden throughout the hotel, kids can earn exclusive original stickers.

- Lucky Lift Offerings: Two specially designed "Lucky Lifts" will be available at the Minakami Quad Lift. Those fortunate enough to ride these lifts will receive a special sticker as a memento of their skiing adventure.

- Hide and Seek with Characters: A large Christmas tree located in the lobby of the Minakami Kogen Hotel 200 will hide the character "Little Chicken." Participants can search for hidden treats among the decorations, turning this into an interactive experience for families.
