Story Summary:

The tale unfolds with Lucifer, the archangel most beloved by God, who, after a rebellion, is cast out of heaven along with his brothers, falling deep into the prison of Cocytus in Hell. Is his spirit that of an angel or a demon? To determine this, the Prince of Hell, Diavolo, summons a human as a “Inquisitor.” At the end of this narrative lies a singular choice—will you save him or shatter him?

In this world, love is not salvation; it is “judgment.”
