Exploring Safe Information Delivery in the Age of SNS and AI: A Symposium on Child Seat Usage

Public Symposium on Safety Information

On November 27, 2025, a significant public symposium titled “How to Deliver Safe Information in the Age of SNS and AI” will take place, focusing on the usage of child seats and the challenges in information dissemination regarding traffic safety. As the internet has revolutionized communication, the way information about traffic safety is conveyed has also drastically changed.

Historically, government agencies and car manufacturers relied on traditional media outlets such as television, newspapers, and magazines to disseminate crucial safety information effectively. However, in recent times, these primary sources of information have established their own websites, allowing them to spread their messages directly. While this shift has enabled greater autonomy in communication, it has also led to an increased emphasis on attracting views and engagement from audiences, presenting new challenges.

Traditionally, audiences received information passively through a “push model,” where they absorbed whatever safety-related content was broadcast in various conventional media. In contrast, the rise of social media has shifted this paradigm towards a “pull model.” Nowadays, individuals selectively engage with information that aligns with their interests, leaving essential safety messages potentially unnoticed. This change in user behavior raises concerns, particularly when it comes to traffic safety information, as critical knowledge may fail to reach those who need it most.

Improper delivery of traffic safety information can render anyone a potential victim or perpetrator. In this symposium, we aim to spotlight the situation surrounding child seat usage through insights gleaned from a survey involving 10,000 participants. We will also discuss how best to communicate information in the current era of artificial intelligence and propose strategies to encourage behavioral change among parents and caregivers to protect vulnerable children on the roads.
