NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS), recently announced the appointment of two prominent figures in the global innovation landscape: Dr. Patrick Ennis and Ms. Donna See. Dr. Patrick Ennis brings over 30 years of experience spanning the realms of science, business, and venture capital. Having held leadership roles in esteemed organizations such as Bell Labs, ARCH Venture Partners, and Intellectual Ventures, Dr. Ennis has now joined the NUS team as a Venture Partner at Madrona Venture Group in Seattle. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in building and funding numerous deep tech companies that have gone public or were acquired by major corporations. His expertise will be crucial in advising NUS on various aspects, including research translation policies, incubation strategies, startup evaluations, venture investment planning, and fostering international partnerships.

Ms. See’s role involves advising NUS on enhancing its research translation policies and capabilities while expanding its global networks. Her deep understanding of the innovation ecosystem positions her well to strengthen NUS’s competitive edge on the international stage, maximizing the influence of groundbreaking innovations emerging from its deep tech laboratories.
