Join Us for a Summer Cooking Class



The Habatake Lab is excited to announce its summer cooking workshop titled "Let's Make Bread Together!" This engaging event encourages families to bond over baking while learning together. On July 29, 2026, families will have a chance to create their very own Edamame Corn Bread using seasonal summer vegetables, led by the talented instructor Nakayama Yukina, a renowned bread making expert.

Target Participants


This workshop is designed for 10 parent-child pairs (20 participants total) with children aged elementary school and above. Participation is completely free!

Registration Process


To apply, please visit the Habatake Lab's official website at habatake.kyodo.co.jp or scan the QR code provided. The application deadline is July 8, 2026. If there are more applicants than available spots, participants will be selected via lottery.

Announcement of Participants


Successful applicants will be notified via email by July 9, 2026 (Thursday) afternoon.

Menu


Participants will learn to make Edamame Corn Bread. Note that the ingredients include wheat, dairy, eggs, pork, soybeans, and apples. [Image is for reference only.]

  • - Apron
  • - Hair covering (bandana or cap)
  • - Hand towel
  • - Mask (to be worn during the event)
  • - Writing utensils
  • - Water or drinks for hydration

About the Instructor


Nakayama Yukina, the instructor for this workshop, is dedicated to offering family-friendly bread making lessons in Katsushika City, Tokyo. She holds classes two to three times a month for children aged three and up, ensuring a fun and educational experience for every family.
