Government Office Visits for Experienced Candidates at the Financial Services Agency
The Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan is set to conduct office visits for individuals who have successfully passed the experienced recruitment exam for administrative officer positions at the section chief level. This initiative aims to connect candidates with the agency and provide insight into its operations.
Eligibility Criteria
The office visits are open to the following candidates:
- - Final successful candidates of the National Public Service Experienced Recruitment Examination for Section Chief (Administrative) under the Joint B Category.
Schedule and Format
The visits are scheduled from December 9 to December 11, 2025, and will be conducted by appointment only. Most interviews are expected to take place face-to-face; however, candidates who cannot attend in person due to distance or other reasons may opt for online interviews. If you choose the online format, please indicate so when submitting your entry sheet. It’s important to note that at least one face-to-face interview will be included in the hiring process.
In the event of high demand, additional interview dates may be offered outside the initially scheduled times.
Location
The office visits will be held at the Financial Services Agency located in the Chuo Government Building No. 7.
How to Make an Appointment
To reserve your spot for the government office visit, please send an email within the specified appointment window:
- - Reservation Acceptable Period: From December 5 (Friday) to December 10 (Wednesday) by 5:00 p.m.
Candidates are required to download a specific entry sheet, fill in the necessary details, and attach a JPEG format photo (under 2MB). Rename the file to include your name as follows: "[Your Name] Entry Sheet.xlsx". Send the email to [email protected] with the subject line formatted as: "Experienced Recruitment Exam (B Category) - Government Office Visit Reservation (Your Full Name in Kanji)".
When submitting your application, please include the following information:

- - Exam number
- - Preferred visit date and time
Important Notes
- - Inquiries regarding the entry sheet will not be answered before the start of the office visits, so please plan accordingly.
- - Note that certain email services such as iCloud, Outlook, or mobile addresses may fail to receive messages due to system compatibility. It is advisable to use alternative email addresses for submissions.
What to Bring
On the day of your visit, please come prepared with the following items:
- - Identification (such as a driver’s license)
- - Writing implements
- - A copy of your entry sheet (not required to be submitted, but recommended for your reference)
Information Sessions
Candidates registered on the recruitment portal will have the opportunity to participate in informational seminars. These sessions aim to provide key insights into the agency’s structure, operations, and career progression.
- - Basic Seminar: November 11 (Tuesday) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- - Basic Seminar: November 18 (Tuesday) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Additionally, the National Personnel Authority will host an online briefing for final successful candidates, where the FSA will also present. No prior registration is necessary.
