Daisens Membrane Systems, a subsidiary of the Daicel Group located in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is set to exhibit its groundbreaking technologies at the 6th Sustainable Materials Expo, which will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. This year marks the company's debut at the expo, and two standout products are expected to draw significant attention: the revolutionary water reuse technology, the MOLSEP® Tubular Membrane Module, and the energy-saving, decarbonization solution, E mizu® Shower System.

MOLSEP® Tubular Membrane Module - Pioneering Water Recovery Technology

The MOLSEP® Tubular Membrane Module employs membrane filtration technology that efficiently recovers and reuses water from industrial and domestic wastewater. This innovative approach has gained traction within the industry, being lauded as a new technology for wastewater recovery.

Its applications are gaining international recognition as well, with confirmation that it will be utilized at the Japan Pavilion's biogas plant during the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka. Moreover, multiple municipalities and private entities have successfully integrated the technology, establishing it as a key infrastructure for creating a circular society. In June 2026, the module was even introduced during the WIPO GREEN Technology Forum, further solidifying its growing international presence.

The E mizu® Shower System is another noteworthy product designed to enhance the cooling efficiency of air conditioning outdoor units and chillers by spraying purified water, thereby reducing electricity consumption and CO2 emissions simultaneously. A unique aspect of this system is its technology's intellectual property. Daisens holds patents in Japan and parts of Asia, establishing itself as a one-of-a-kind provider in the market. To date, over 350 units have been installed across a range of industries and facilities, reflecting the technology’s adaptability.

Particularly noteworthy is the rise in demand for applications tailored to data centers, which necessitate extensive air conditioning systems due to the growing emphasis on AI and digitalization in society.
