JAF Tokyo Offers Unique Career Experience for Middle School Students

Exploring Safe and Secure Mobility with JAF Tokyo

This summer, the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) Tokyo branch, led by Chief Kato Kazuo, is engaging young minds in a unique career experience designed for middle school students. Part of the initiative includes collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's 'TOKYO Middle and High School Career Experience Site, Job EX'. Students will be welcomed to participate in this program during the summer holidays, bringing valuable insights into the automotive and mobility sector.

Objectives of the Program

The program aims to enlighten students about the critical concepts of safety and security while navigating the ever-evolving landscape of mobility. By offering an engaging experience, JAF Tokyo aspires to stimulate interest in fields associated with automotive safety and technology. This initiative focuses on two fundamental themes: 'next-generation development' and 'traffic safety advocacy'.

Participants will have the chance to gain hands-on experience related to JAF’s core operations, including demonstrations of roadside assistance and discussions around traffic safety. This practical exposure aims to help students connect with the realities of work, emphasizing the significance of engaging with local communities and the potential career paths within these fields.
