Women in Power Celebration to Highlight Trailblazing Women
On March 14, 2025, the Women in Power event will hold its annual celebration emphasizing the contributions of women who make history and inspire future generations. This year, the spotlight shines on Carol Moseley Braun, the first Black female U.S. Senator, who will join House Speaker Emanuel 'Chris' Welch in honoring the achievements of remarkable women leaders from Illinois.
