The 2026 Tokyo Street Performance Festival: A Celebration of Global Talent
The eagerly awaited
2026 Tokyo Street Performance Festival, also known as
Daidogeihaku, is set to take place from
May 2 to 6. The event promises to showcase an incredible array of international street performers in both free daytime events and ticketed nighttime shows at Nernij Castle Park, making it an excellent opportunity for everyone to enjoy world-class performances.
This year marks the
fifth edition of the Street Performance Festival, building upon the success of previous years. After three memorable events in Tokyo and another at Aichi, Nagoya in 2025, excitement is building as it returns to Tokyo for Golden Week. - - Taitai & Aria from Taiwan, known for their breathtaking Chinese pole performance, captivating audiences and combining physical prowess with dramatic artistry on May 3, 4, 5, and 6.
- - Wu Haw Jong, also hailing from Taiwan, will bring a unique diabolo show starting on May 2. His work merges traditional circus elements with contemporary art, showcasing meticulous control and powerful body language.
- - Kymmy, a standout talent famous for her stilting, will dazzle onlookers with her towering presence and captivating costumes on May 2, 3, and 4.

1,500 yen in advance and
2,000 yen at the door, allowing attendees to experience intimate performances followed by a meet-and-greet session with the artists.
