Cloud Microphones Launches Get Lifted Artist Tournament

Cloud Microphones, based in Tucson, Arizona, has announced the opening of fan voting for the highly anticipated Get Lifted Artist Tournament. This unique competition celebrates independent artists from across the United States, providing them with a chance to record an original song in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning mix engineer, Bob Horn.

The journey has been thrilling, with 25 talented artists undergoing a qualifying round, narrowing the field down to 16 who are set to compete in a single-elimination format. Over the next phases, the artists will battle head-to-head, with the competition progressing from 16 to 8, then 4, and finally culminating in the champion round between the last two contestants.

The winning artist will be flown to Cloud Microphones Studios in Tucson, where they will record an original song alongside the esteemed Bob Horn, who will also take charge of mixing the final track. Notably, the artist will retain full ownership rights to the master recording, making the stakes even higher.

Each winning matchup will proceed to the quarterfinals, advancing along the tournament's timeline until a champion is crowned.

To sweeten the excitement, fans who cast at least one valid vote will be automatically entered into the Get Lifted Giveaway Drawing. Prizes include the coveted Cloud 44 Midnight Microphone valued at $1,699, the TRUE BLUE 520 Preamp worth $899, and the Cloudlifter Mini CL-25, retailing at $149.
