HIZENERGY Launches Innovative C&I BESS Portfolio for Europe
On October 30, 2026, at an event in Frankfurt, Dr. Fei Wang, Solution Manager at HIZENERGY, introduced a groundbreaking collection of Commercial and Industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems (C&I BESS). This initiative addresses significant challenges posed by the increasing reliance on solar energy within Europe’s energy network.
The presentation highlighted the urgency of improving flexibility in the European energy grid, specifically as solar energy adoption accelerates. Dr. Wang also tackled the economic implications of the so-called "duck curve" phenomenon and the rising count of hours characterized by negative electricity prices, necessitating effective energy storage solutions.
As costs for energy storage systems continue to decrease, the economic viability of behind-the-meter energy accumulation for factories, industrial complexes, and commercial properties becomes increasingly attractive. HIZENERGY's flagship ENERBOX line supports three primary operational modes: grid connection, off-grid operation, and seamless mode switching between connected and disconnected states. The compact, all-in-one AC cabinet offers a powerful 125 kW output and energy capacity options of 261 kWh or 313 kWh, which can be expanded through parallel connections of multiple cabinets.
These advanced solutions help maximize self-consumption of solar energy, peak-shaving, energy arbitrage, access to ancillary services market, and critical load backup capabilities. The units have passed safety tests per UL 9540A standards and can be fully commissioned on-site in as little as two hours. HIZENERGY has systems in operation across Europe, with the Netherlands serving as its central hub housing a regional office, storage facility, and the largest service center complemented by a total of 12 service locations across the continent.
Proven applications include solar integration, battery installations, electric vehicle charging methods, resilient microgrid backup strategies, and profit-oriented energy arbitrage. HIZENERGY showcases 16 years of experience in the self-development of power conversion systems (PCS) and holds BloombergNEF Tier 1 ratings along with bankability certifications from TÜV SÜD.
Dr. Wang emphasized that battery storage solutions for commercial and industrial purposes unlock numerous sources of added value, enhancing business profitability, ensuring reliable energy security, and facilitating significant advancements in decarbonization efforts for European enterprises.
This hardware-software ecosystem is suitable for both new constructions and the modernization of existing industrial and commercial facilities. For more information, visit
