OVER RUSH: Exciting High-Speed Card Battle RPG

NHN PlayArt is set to launch its fast-paced card battle RPG, OVER RUSH, starting with an open beta test (OBT) on September 17, 2026. This eagerly anticipated title will be available on iOS, Android, and Steam, providing a unique gaming experience unlike any other.

What is OVER RUSH?

OVER RUSH marks NHN PlayArt's first venture into Steam distribution, designed to be both engaging and accessible. Players will find that they can enjoy the game without memorizing complex rules or card effects, making for a more relaxed gameplay style. The battles are designed to provide instant gratification with real-time decision-making, coupled with rogue-like elements that enhance replayability and depth.

Set in a futuristic city called Sync City, where AI robots known as Workroids coexist with humans, players will assume the role of the leader of a special task force called R.U.S.H, formed to combat rampant Workroid malfunctions. Joined by an independent-thinking Workroid companion known as Buddy, players will navigate unpredictable scenarios and challenges.

Open Beta Test (OBT) Details

The purpose of this open beta is to prepare for the official launch by testing server load and game balance, as well as gathering feedback from players. Anyone interested can participate for free during the following period:

• - End Date: September 24, 2026, at 2:59 PM

Players can register for the OBT through the official website or at the NHN PlayArt booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Everyone who completes a survey during the beta period will receive a code for in-game items to be used upon the official release.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 Participation

OVER RUSH will be showcased at the NHN PlayArt booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, taking place from September 17 to September 21. Attendees can experience gameplay through designated areas and enjoy photo spots featuring life-sized character cutouts. Additionally, there will be exciting opportunities to participate in a limited card gacha that offers exclusive prizes.
