On July 22, 2025, 50/50 Women on Boards™, a leading global nonprofit focused on increasing gender diversity in corporate governance, unveiled its highly anticipated list of the 2025 "50 Women to Watch for Boards" (50WTW). This initiative highlights exceptional women leaders from North America, all poised to take on roles within public company boards.

This initiative, now in its third year, has created a robust pipeline for women aiming for board service. In 2025 alone, nearly 400 qualified applicants were considered, reflecting a growing recognition of the importance of gender diversity in boardrooms. The 50 Women to Watch for Boards Directory serves as a key resource, connecting board directors and recruiters with credible candidates filtered through various criteria. This directory aims to amplify the visibility of these talented women and facilitate their integration into leadership roles.
