Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025
Sightron Japan, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo and led by CEO Akira Watanabe, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025. This innovative event aims to celebrate art, music, and community engagement under the enchanting theme of the moon.
Event Overview
The Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025 will take place from
September 19 (Friday) to October 5 (Sunday), throughout the Shimokitazawa area, including significant spaces like the Shimokitazawa Line Street. This festival, now entering its fourth year since its inception in 2022, offers a unique blend of art exhibitions, live music performances, and exclusive menu offerings from local eateries, engaging the Shimokitazawa community like never before.
Sightron Japan will host a special stargazing event during this festival. Over the span of
seven days, attendees will have the opportunity to observe the night sky using advanced astronomical telescopes and binoculars. The stargazing sessions are set to occur on the following dates:
- - September 19 (Friday)
- - September 20 (Saturday)
- - September 21 (Sunday)
- - September 23 (Tuesday, Holiday)
- - October 3 (Friday)
- - October 4 (Saturday)
- - October 5 (Sunday)
Each of these sessions will run from
6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Please note that stargazing events will be canceled in case of inclement weather.
Admission Details
Entry to the Moon Art Night is free of charge. However, some art exhibitions might require a paid ticket. Notably, on the days when the stargazing is hosted at the rooftop of Higashi-Tokorozawa Station (beyond ticket gates), a ticket that includes access to the rooftop exhibition space at Tohoku-Takashi Station will be required.
Event Organizers & Support
The event is organized by the
Shimokitazawa Shopping District Federation,
Odakyu Electric Railway, and
Startburn Co., Ltd. with the support of
Setagaya Ward. It also receives funding through the
Tokyo Stage Arts Festival 2025 regional theater collaboration project. Sightron Japan is an official sponsor of the event.
