About the Aoshima Hiroshi Komagome Children's Choir
Founded in 2012, the Aoshima Hiroshi Komagome Children's Choir began through the cooperation of local musician Hiroshi Aoshima, salient in fostering music appreciation amongst children in the community. The choir practices at the Komagome Regional Cultural Creation Center and engages in various musical activities, enhancing the children’s sensitivity and understanding of music.
Profile of Hiroshi Aoshima
Born in 1955 in Tokyo, the accomplished composer Hiroshi Aoshima possesses a wealth of experience, having graduated at the top of his class from the Tokyo University of the Arts. Notable for his works, including operas and choral compositions, he has created more than 300 pieces. A regular on television and radio, Aoshima shares his musical expertise through various platforms and continues to inspire young talents as a visiting professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
