In practical terms, a typical household of two people requires about 17 kWh (approximately 5.6 kWh per day) over a 72-hour period during emergencies. The NC-Kuchiharukyu Battery Storage Station, with a rated capacity of approximately 8 MWh (8,146 kWh), has the potential to supply sufficient electricity for around 470 households over the same timeframe, underlining the facility's role as a crucial aspect of regional infrastructure in disaster scenarios.
