Tokyo Tatemono's Commitment to Inclusion

Tokyo Tatemono believes that urban development is not merely about constructing buildings; it’s about enriching people’s lives and creating spaces where everyone can thrive. The company has been dedicated to creating inclusive environments through the development and management of various venues such as residential complexes, offices, commercial facilities, parks, and hotels. By prioritizing diversity and inclusion (DE&I), they aim to promote civic engagement and foster connections among diverse groups of people.

HERALBONY envisions that the artists entered in the art prize should be recognized not merely as "disabled" individuals but as talented artists whose works deserve fair evaluation. Their mission aligns deeply with Tokyo Tatemono’s vision of urban development, which aspires to create a future where diverse expression and value shine.

In light of these shared values, Tokyo Tatemono has joined HERALBONY as a platinum partner to support the journey toward creating a society that cherishes diverse talents and abilities.

The Origins of Collaboration

The partnership between Tokyo Tatemono and HERALBONY dates back to 2021 when Tokyo Tatemono opened the BAG-Brillia Art Gallery in Kyobashi, hosting HERALBONY's first exhibition in Tokyo titled "HERALBONY / Beginning from Zero." This inaugural event set the stage for ongoing collaborations, including subsequent exhibitions at the BAG and other venues, further amplifying HERALBONY artists' voices.

In June 2022, a significant exhibition titled "BAG-Brillia Art Gallery in Nagano" was also held, this time showcasing HERALBONY's artwork in a shopping mall setting, reinforcing their shared commitment to expanding artistic representation.

In addition to exhibitions, collaborations have flourished into other creative initiatives, such as showcasing art on construction site fences and Print-on-Demand tote bags featuring selected artworks. Other projects have included the integration of art into common areas in residential complexes and instating art pianos at airports and department stores, bringing creativity to everyday experiences.

Recent Endeavors

Most recently, Tokyo Tatemono has taken a leadership role in the upcoming Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2025, where approximately 15,000 runners will take to the streets of Tokyo. At this event, the artwork titled "The Mystic’s Dreams" by Amanda Angela Soenoko, a recipient of the Tokyo Tatemono|Brillia award from the HERALBONY Art Prize 2025, will be prominently displayed, showcasing the intersection between art and sport.
