TACUTECH's Innovative Solutions Unveiled at International Logistics Exhibition 2026
TACUTECH, a logistics engineering firm based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, is set to participate in the upcoming International Logistics Exhibition 2026, taking place from September 8 to September 11 at Tokyo Big Sight. This exhibition is a critical opportunity for TACUTECH to present its cutting-edge solutions aimed at solving a variety of challenges faced in the logistics industry, including space limitations, workload, errors, and productivity improvement.
The focus of TACUTECH's exhibition will be on three innovative solutions making their debut: the aerial transportation system
KUMO CARRY, the
P2S (3D pallet shuttle system), and the semi-automatic random box sealing machine
PaLS-C. These solutions have been designed to enhance the efficiency of storage, picking, sorting, transport, and packaging in logistics operations.
The Solutions on Display
1.
KUMO CARRY: Utilizing Vertical Space for Transport
The
KUMO CARRY system effectively makes use of the upper space in logistics facilities for transportation routes, alleviating constraints imposed by traditional conveyor systems on the ground floor. This vertical transport solution allows for the maximization of available floor space for operations, equipment, and temporary storage, thereby optimizing logistics processes without the need for physical expansion.
2.
P2S (3D Pallet Shuttle): Maximizing Storage Density
By employing a shuttle that traverses in all directions, the
P2S system is able to transport and store pallets within racks efficiently. It allows for up to 2.5 times more storage capacity on the same footprint by cleverly utilizing rack depth while minimizing aisle and movement restrictions. Its flexibility caters to various warehouse layouts and enables expansion in response to changes in logistics demands, all without necessitating additional building space.
3.
PaLS-C: Compact and Efficient Box Sealing
The
PaLS-C is a semi-automatic sealing machine designed to handle boxes of various sizes continuously. Operators simply fold the box flaps and insert them into the machine, which automatically adjusts to the box height and manages the sealing process as well as label application. This solution caters particularly well to facilities looking to reduce packaging workload without the investment and space required for full automation.
Ensuring Unique Solutions for Unique Challenges
TACUTECH prides itself on being the “last resort for the logistics industry” by not striving for overarching automation but instead tailoring solutions based on individual circumstances such as shipping volumes, operational methods, building size, space available, existing equipment, and budget. This personal approach allows for practical improvements in existing logistics processes.
A Must-See Demonstration Area
During the exhibition, TACUTECH will also feature a significant demonstration area showcasing the
P2S in action. Attendees can experience firsthand how this system operates and the advancements in performance it brings to logistics settings. Additional new solutions will also be introduced, providing great opportunities for logistics professionals to engage with the technology in real-time.
