Camel Group Showcases Advanced Battery Technologies at the 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou
Camel Group at the 140th Canton Fair
On October 15, 2026, the 140th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, commenced in Guangzhou, attracting businesses from around the world. The first phase, focused on 'Advanced Manufacturing,' has become a platform for Camel Group to highlight its diverse technology portfolio, particularly in battery production.
Expansion of Battery Solutions
Camel Group, a well-respected name in the battery manufacturing industry, presented a wide range of battery products aimed at enhancing global mobility during the fair. Among the products displayed were their premium low-voltage lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and innovative sodium-ion batteries designed specifically for light electric vehicles (LEVs). This array caters to various applications, including vehicle starting, auxiliary power, and low-speed mobility.
Innovations for the LEV Market
Particularly noteworthy were Camel's new battery products for two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles, low-speed electric cars, and golf carts. These products are designed to meet varying market demands regarding distance range, payload capacity, cycle life, and total cost of ownership. The lithium-ion batteries feature 64V and 76.8V platforms and come in sizes ranging from 20Ah to 206Ah. They are equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and an intelligent battery management system (BMS), making them suitable for daily commutes, last-mile deliveries, cargo transport, and utility vehicle applications.
Additionally, Camel Group has leveraged its four decades of experience in lead-acid technology to create lead-acid batteries tailored for LEVs that span across 6V, 8V, and 12V platforms, with capacities from 13.3Ah to 150Ah. These batteries promise reliable performance across various duty cycles.
Diverse Product Lineup
For traditional automotive low-voltage applications, attendees witnessed the display of SLI, EFB, and AGM lead-acid batteries, along with Camel's low-voltage lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery offerings. The range includes solutions for vehicle starting, backup power, and specialized applications in commercial vehicles, such as parking air-conditioning systems, all the way to advanced 48V electrical systems.
Camel’s innovative 12V sodium-ion battery has been selected for a pre-development project in collaboration with a European automotive manufacturer, focusing on the technical development and validation of this new battery technology. Highlighted at the Canton Fair, this development showcases Camel's commitment to advancing next-generation automotive battery technologies.
