KLI to Deliver High-Voltage Battery Storage Package for Energy Management

KLI, a company based in Fukuoka, has made headlines by securing a significant order for a high-voltage energy storage package. This package is in partnership with PowerX, a company headquartered in Tokyo, and Nishimu Electronics Industry, also from Fukuoka. Under this agreement, the package will utilize PowerX's large stationary battery, the "Mega Power," alongside the energy management system (EMS) "TAMERBA EMS" provided by Nishimu Electronics.

Scheduled for construction start in May 2025, this energy storage facility aims to be operational by March 2026. This initiative reflects a great stride toward enhancing the stability and utilization of renewable energy sources in Japan. Both PowerX and Nishimu Electronics commit to promoting the introduction of energy storage systems, tackling societal challenges including decarbonization efforts.
