HiKOKI Europe Introduces New Cordless Nailers
HiKOKI Europe has recently unveiled a groundbreaking line of cordless nailers that are a game-changer for professional carpenters and construction workers. The new generation of these nail guns promises to deliver exceptional performance while combining the lightweight benefits of gas-powered tools with the rapid firing capabilities of pneumatic nailers.
A Revolutionary Design
Designed with professionals in mind, the new nailers eliminate the need for gas cartridges, hoses, or compressors, making them a perfect fit for demanding work environments. The innovative fastening platform boasts consistent driving force, workplace mobility, and a rapid-fire speed, allowing users to easily tackle challenging tasks without compromising on power or performance.
As Peter Vullinghs, President of KOKI Group Europe, stated, "Today's professional builders should not have to choose between performance and mobility. Our advanced nailers provide both, enabling them to do their best work efficiently while meeting the ever-increasing demands on site spaces. Our new generation of nailers is not merely an evolution, it's a revolution."
Unique Air Spring Drive System
At the core of this platform is the HiKOKI Air Spring Drive System Plus™, which stores and releases compressed air directly in the tool. This ensures a quick response time, constant driving force, and performance levels comparable to pneumatic power tools, without the need for external compressors. The system effectively combines an optimized impact mechanism with advanced battery technology, which provides shorter nailing cycles and smoother operation.
With a firing rate of up to 4.5 nails per second using the MultiVolt battery, this new nailer outperforms most cordless and gas-powered nailers on the market, which typically fire only two to three nails per second. The trigger response time of 43 milliseconds is the fastest of any non-pneumatic nailers available today and nearly half the response time of the nearest competitor.
Lightweight for All-Day Use
Weighing in at just 3.9 kg, including the battery, the new framing nailers are among the lightest options in the 18V cordless realm, which is over a kilogram lighter than most competing tools. The magnesium casing provides durability while reducing fatigue during prolonged use, especially in overhead applications and repetitive firing scenarios.
Enhanced Versatility
The new nailers feature interchangeable magazines that increase job site versatility. Compatible models can be configured for framing, metal connectors, and even dual-headed fastenings with the appropriate magazine kits. This design flexibility allows professionals to tackle a variety of tasks while still using the same battery platform.
In addition to enhanced performance, the nailers’ design drastically reduces operational costs by eliminating the need for ongoing purchases of gas cartridges and associated maintenance expenses. Without gas combustion or combustion chambers, there are no emissions, cleaning responsibilities related to gas burning, or the necessity of purchasing, storing, or replacing flammable gas cartridges, making it a cleaner and more convenient option for indoor projects.
Simplified Maintenance
Routine maintenance has been streamlined to minimize downtime and enhance operability. Key wear components are now easier to replace compared to traditional systems, helping professionals maintain high productivity levels at job sites.
European Product Line Availability
The initial models available for the European market include two framing nailers rated at 90 mm and a 64 mm nailer for metal connectors, along with a new range of fastening elements set for full availability by November 2026.
