Holladay Distillery Strengthens Distribution Ties with Southern Glazer's Across Numerous States

Holladay Distillery Expands Distribution Network

Holladay Distillery, a historic spirit maker based in Weston, Missouri, is taking significant steps to enhance its distribution capabilities in partnership with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. With shared goals and ambitions, the two entities are set to broaden the reach of Holladay’s premium spirit offerings across multiple control states beginning September 1, 2026.

This move marks an exciting phase in their collaboration, which was first initiated earlier this year. As Holladay Distillery looks to capture an increasing consumer base, the expansion into these newly targeted control states reflects its commitment to long-term growth and quality representation in the market. The new areas of distribution include states that are crucial for increasing brand exposure and accessibility, such as Alabama, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

A Portfolio to Impress

Central to this expansion is the award-winning bourbon selection that Holladay Distillery offers, featuring standout brands like Ben Holladay Bourbon and Holladay Soft Red Wheat Bourbon. Not limited to bourbon, this partnership will also see Southern Glazer's distribute a range of spirits from McCormick Distilling Company, which includes renowned products such as Five Farms Irish Cream, Tequila Rose, Broker's Gin, and 360 Vodka. This diverse offering caters to a wide audience, appealing to both traditional and modern palates.

Patrick Fee, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Holladay Distillery, shared insights on the partnership, stating, “The collaboration with Southern Glazer's has gained considerable momentum since our initial agreement was established. This further expansion will allow us to introduce our products to an even broader demographic while ensuring our retail and on-premise partners receive the exceptional support unique to Southern Glazer's.”

Elevating Brand Visibility

The arrangement sees Southern Glazer's now representing both Holladay Distillery and McCormick Distilling Company across 27 states. Within this framework, 15 states are categorized as open while the remaining 12 are control states. By working with such a well-respected distributor, the goal is to significantly bolster the visibility and availability of Holladay's reputable spirits portfolio.

Kirt Clemens, President of Control States at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, commented on the collaboration saying, “We are thrilled to enhance our relationship with Holladay Distillery. By aligning Holladay's distinct brands with our experience and reach within the control states, we can ensure substantial momentum and brand recognition.”

Legacy of Excellence

Founded in 1856, Holladay Distillery proudly holds the title of the oldest continuous distillery west of the Mississippi River. With almost 170 years of distilling expertise, the company has consistently maintained a focus on quality and innovation. The Holladay Bourbon is particularly noted for its authenticity and the meticulous aging process in traditional ironclad rickhouses, ensuring that every bottle delivers an exceptional experience.

In addition to its bourbons, McCormick Distilling Company maintains a diverse range of spirits that cater to all consumers, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner among retailers nationwide.

This expanding partnership is a strategic move not only to enhance their market presence but also to provide consumers with unparalleled quality. Southern Glazer's commitment to responsible consumption aligns with Holladay Distillery's values, creating a partnership grounded in mutual respect and a passion for quality spirits.
