On August 25, 2025, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants will unveil its second Piccolo Buco location in Naperville, Illinois, enhancing an already popular culinary journey that began in Oak Brook. This initiative reflects their mission to deliver exceptional dining experiences directly to communities, ensuring that guests enjoy an authentic slice of Italy without having to travel far.
Located at 456 Illinois Rte 59, the new restaurant is part of the newly developed Block 59 area and aims to create an intimate dining atmosphere reminiscent of a cozy Roman bistro. The space will hold a total of 195 seats, including 68 on a charming enclosed patio, adorned with twinkling lights and lush greenery that echo the ambiance of a true Italian eatery.
The collaboration with Chef Luca Issa, who runs the original Piccolo Buco in Rome, promises to deliver genuine Italian flavors to the Chicago area. Tim McEnery, the founder of Cooper's Hawk, discovered Chef Issa's masterpieces during a trip to Rome, igniting a desire to offer these unique culinary delights stateside.
