Meet Your Art Festival 2025
The
Meet Your Art Festival 2025 is set to take place over four vibrant days from
October 10 to 13, 2025, along the scenic Tennozu Canal in Tokyo, featuring multiple venues centered around Terada Warehouse. This year, the festival boasts an impressive lineup of events, including art exhibitions, art fairs, live performances, and engaging talk sessions.
One of the festival's most anticipated events is a special talk session on the opening day,
October 10, conducted by the dynamic duo of
Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group and renowned music producer
Tetsuya Komuro. This session will begin at
6:45 PM at a specially designed stage within the festival venue. The conversation will be recorded for the
Meet Your Art program, with
Mirai Moriyama serving as the host and
Ai Koike as the navigator. Details about an archive of this session are yet to be announced.
In addition to the talk session, the festival will witness the unveiling of a collaborative artwork titled
SUN, a product of the partnership between Chim↑Pom and Komuro. This piece revolves around the theme of the
birth of primordial life, with the text crafted from the personal birthing experiences of Chim↑Pom member
Erii, and complemented by the majestic sounds composed by Komuro. The installation, which emphasizes performance, is expected to take center stage, with performances planned throughout the festival.
Comments from the Artists
Erii from Chim↑Pom remarked:
“To live is to tremble the soul. Komuro’s music resonates, making life sparkle. When I ponder life, I cannot imagine it without Komuro’s melodies. The music flows through the body, surpassing 333,108 hours. This energy transforms into creation and art, resonating with all our lives.”
Meanwhile,
Tetsuya Komuro shared his thoughts on the collaboration:
“I provided concept-driven music for this collaborative performance work. I hope the audience enjoys the result of our extensive discussions and creative process.”
