The vibrant world of high school dance took center stage recently as the much-anticipated 'Mynavi HIGH SCHOOL DANCE COMPETITION 2026' qualifiers kicked off in Osaka. Hosted by Anomaly Corporation, based in Shibuya, Tokyo, this competition celebrates the immense talent of high school dancers who devote their youth to the art of dance. The first qualifying event, dubbed 'WEST vol.1', was held on December 7th at the Nankai Namikiri Hall in Osaka, unveiling the specialists of tomorrow.

Aiming for Victory

The stakes were high as teams from various high schools competed for a coveted spot in the finals scheduled for April 18, 2026. Each performance was a testament to the dedication and hard work of these young dancers. The winners of the day were:

SMALL Division Winner: Osaka Prefectural Minoh High School / Bibble Beat

The team expressed their gratitude, saying, "We have worked hard to achieve a gold prize, and we are incredibly happy. However, we recognize there are many aspects to improve, and we will strive to perform even better at the finals!"

LARGE Division Winner: Osaka Prefectural Shibashima High School / K-Jack

After securing their place with a powerful performance, K-Jack exuded confidence, stating, "There was incredible pressure to aim for our third consecutive first place, but everyone came together, and we are thrilled to have the gold prize. This is just a stepping stone toward claiming first place in the finals. We will enhance our performance and deliver something even better to our fans!"
