Recent Achievements


In a recent development, XCMG Technician College received commendation from PT. Global Machine Tools (GMT), an Indonesian partner, for its innovative training system that significantly enhances technical prowess and service capabilities among local technicians. This recognition highlights the college's dedication to excellence and its influential role in shaping the future workforce of the construction machinery sector.

Training Programs in Indonesia


On December 1, 2024, XCMG commenced a dedicated training program in Indonesia, marking a significant step in its mission to empower local workforce capabilities. Over 30 students successfully completed a month-long course focusing on the operations of bulldozers and excavators within the mining industry, graduating with mid-level worker certifications. This initiative exemplifies the college’s commitment to fostering local talent in line with XCMG's global strategy.

Global Workforce Development


As urbanization accelerates in developing nations and outdated infrastructures in industrial countries undergo a much-needed overhaul, the demand for internationally trained professionals to deliver top-tier services has never been more crucial. XCMG Technician College’s comprehensive programs are designed to equip students with skills that align with international standards.

Currently, the college offers over 20 international training programs across 25 countries, directly benefiting more than 3,000 professionals. Some notable initiatives include:
  • - Blue Sea Elite Program: Launched in August 2021 in collaboration with the Erfurt Chamber of Commerce and the Erfurt Educational Center in Germany, this program has yielded over 400 trained students across 13 cohorts.
  • - Foreign Service Engineers Training: Since 2021, over 400 talented individuals have gained qualifications to support global operations.
  • - Delivery and Product Manager Training: Begun in January 2025, this program has already seen participation from over 300 individuals.

International Outreach and Collaboration


Furthermore, in 2022, XCMG educators traveled to Gabon, Africa, for a six-month training project focused on customer service. They deployed approximately 40 custom-developed course materials to impart knowledge on 22 construction machinery products. According to Kassa Barnabe, an instructor from Masuku University of Science and Technology, sharing Chinese vocational standards with Gabonese counterparts has helped enhance local workers' skills and improve equipment handling.
