Costikyan Custom Carpet Launch: Celebrating Heritage and Quality

Costikyan Inc., a name synonymous with fine rugs and carpets, is making waves once again with the launch of Costikyan Custom Carpet. Established in 1886, this revival comes as the company celebrates its 140th anniversary, bringing their longstanding tradition of quality craftsmanship back to the forefront of the flooring industry.

Originating as Costikyan Freres in the 19th century, the company has a rich history rooted in providing Americans with exquisite Oriental and antique rugs. The vision of founder S. Kent Costikyan continues to resonate with five generations of his family, and this heritage remains integral to their approach in selecting products. Over the past century, Costikyan has amassed extensive knowledge about rugs, enabling them to curate collections that impeccably suit client needs and tastes.

A Focus on Customization

Costikyan Custom Carpet introduces a new level of personalization for clients seeking that perfect flooring solution. The new line allows customers not only to select from a collection of in-stock handmade rugs but also to have broadloom cut and tailored to their specifications. Additionally, clients can collaborate with Costikyan’s dedicated team to design fully custom carpets that reflect their unique style. This versatility makes Costikyan a go-to source for homeowners and interior designers alike.

CEO Greg Garian emphasizes the importance of their legacy in determining the quality of offerings: "Our history gives us the judgment to be selective about what we offer. We understand what clients are looking for and use that knowledge to curate rugs and carpets that suit their tastes and needs." Garian's perspective underscores the brand's commitment to quality, ensuring that each piece is thoughtfully considered for both appearance and functionality.

The Costikyan Collection: A Testament to Quality

The launch of Costikyan Custom Carpet is a significant step for the company to reestablish itself in the flooring market as an authority in quality rugs. With an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and design, Costikyan aims to cater to an audience that values aesthetics and sustainability.
