This event series consists of three engaging discussions featuring top professionals from various fields who will delve into significant questions surrounding the future of life, beauty, and humanity as portrayed in the art of Hajime Sorayama.

Speakers: Takashi Ikegami and Masahiko Inami
This opening session features Takashi Ikegami, a leading researcher in artificial life, and Masahiko Inami, an expert in body enhancement technology. They will explore profound inquiries such as "What is life?" and "To what extent can the human body be enhanced?" against the backdrop of Sorayama's work, which blurs the lines between robotics and humanity.
Takashi Ikegami is the director of the AISAC center at Atomi University and has consistently focused on life as a dynamic system through various interdisciplinary approaches, including artificial life and humanoid robotics. Meanwhile, Masahiko Inami, who serves as an associate professor at the University of Tokyo, delves into various innovative technologies and human augmentation frameworks.

Speakers: Durian Lollobrigida and Emi Kusano
This illuminating conversation will showcase Durian Lollobrigida, a drag queen who embodies beauty through makeup and fashion, opposite Emi Kusano, a digital artist incorporating AI and technology in her exploration of beauty. As they explore the interplay of light and beauty, this session will invite thoughts on how we define self-expression and individuality in contemporary contexts.
Known for her striking presence, Lollobrigida rose to prominence in the drag community, earning accolades and participating in numerous media projects. Kusano, an artist driven by nostalgia and pop culture, uses new technologies to visualize ongoing dialogues between past and present in society, recently debuting at Art Basel Hong Kong.

The Future of Humanity

Speakers: Hiroshi Ishiguro and TaiTan
The final event features Hiroshi Ishiguro, a robotics expert known for creating lifelike androids, alongside TaiTan, a multi-faceted creative director and rapper. They will engage in a captivating dialogue on what it means to be human, prompted by the visual inquiries raised by Sorayama's art.
Ishiguro is a professor at Osaka University and has held various leadership roles in robotics research, while TaiTan has garnered attention through innovative projects that merge technology and culture, including podcasts and creative campaigns.
