Archer & Greiner Welcomes New Leadership
In a significant leadership transition, Archer & Greiner P.C. has formally announced Marc Rollo's election as the president of the firm, effective January 1, 2026. This move follows a well-planned succession strategy aimed at ensuring the firm's continuing growth and adaptability in an ever-evolving legal landscape.
Rollo, who has a rich history with Archer, currently chairs the Environmental Law Practice and brings over three decades of valuable experience within the firm. His ascendancy to this key role signifies a continuity of strong leadership. Rollo's reputation is built on meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to open communication, and a profound understanding of both the firm's internal dynamics and external market conditions. These qualities position him to steer Archer into a promising new chapter.
As part of his new responsibilities, Rollo will maintain his national regulatory and litigation practice. His dedication to serving his clients, many of whom consider him a trusted advisor, reflects his capabilities in navigating complex environmental issues. Rollo's collaborative approach and problem-solving abilities are integral to addressing client needs amid ever-changing regulations.
This transition was not made lightly. It was preceded by a thorough strategic planning process involving a selection committee that interviewed every shareholder for their insights regarding the firm's future leadership and strategic direction. Outgoing president Christopher Gibson, who held the role since 2010, emphasized the planning was critical to creating a smooth transition for all stakeholders involved, including attorneys, clients, and partners.
Gibson noted, "It's been a privilege to have helped grow Archer robustly over the last 15 years. I am confident that the firm’s operations will flourish under Marc’s leadership."
While Rollo steps into this new leadership role, Gibson will continue to lead the firm’s Litigation Practice. He is well-regarded for his representation of corporations in complex litigation, enhancing Archer’s reputation as a premier legal service provider. Gibson has been instrumental in positioning Archer as a regional powerhouse noted for exceptional legal services and client satisfaction, as well as expanding its influence within the political sphere through initiatives like Archer Public Affairs.
Marc Rollo expressed his gratitude towards Gibson, stating, "Chris's unwavering leadership and clear vision have been pivotal in shaping Archer into the firm we are today. As we embark on this exciting growth phase, we aim to leverage strategic opportunities that will build upon our existing strengths and broaden the services we offer to our clients."
The firm’s Board of Directors will continue under Debbie Hays, while Stacey Sinclair maintains the role of Chief Operating Officer. Rollo has also been proactive in his new position, having led the recruitment of notable lateral partners that enhance the firm's talent pool. This includes the addition of Bozena Diaz and Justin Csik to the Business Counseling Group, as well as Anthony Talarico to its Corporate Compliance, Investigations & Criminal Defense practice in North Jersey. Archer’s footprint in the Sports and Entertainment sector has also been bolstered with new partners such as Stuart Goldfarb in New York and Robert Auritt in Philadelphia.
